THE KNICKS ARE HEADED TO THE NBA FINALS

The New York Knicks are headed to the NBA finals for the first time since 1999!
They swept the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals, winning the series 4-0!
Here’s a bit about each game of the series.
Game 1:
In game 1, the Knicks were down by 22 points in the 4th quarter and ended up winning in overtime with a final score of 115-104!
This was the largest comeback in Knicks playoff history!
Brunson led the comeback, ending the game with 38 points and 6 assists.
Game 2:
In game 2, Josh Hart scored a new playoff career-high 26 points, while Jalen Brunson scored a new playoff career-high 14 assists. Knicks won 109-93.
Game 3:
In game 3, Jalen Brunson scored 30 points and 6 assists, while Mikal Bridges continued his very efficient shooting, scoring 22 points on 73% shooting. Knicks won 121-108.
Game 4:
In game 4, the Knicks destroyed the Cavs, winning 130-93, and officially winning the Eastern Conference.
Karl-Anthony Towns had a strong game, scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.
Landry Shamet played great off the bench, scoring 16 points on 83% shooting.
Jalen Brunson was named Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
He averaged 26 points, 8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal throughout the series.


The Knicks will now face the winner of the Western Conference Finals. Either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs.
